Common Mode Chokes
VAC Magnetics’ common mode chokes and cores are used for the filtering of common mode noise
VAC Magnetics’ common mode chokes (CMCs) are well-suited for automotive applications such as DC/DC converters of hybrid and electric cars. A standard series of CMCs in two different sizes is available.
The noise spectrum of power electronics for industrial applications is regulated (e.g., according to EN 55011) to reduce the electromagnetic interferences (EMI) between devices. Accordingly, it is required to implement EMI filters to attenuate the noise. These filters consist of a network of capacitors and inductors. VAC's CMCs and cores are used for the filtering of the common mode noise.
