MSPM0G110x 80 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCU

Texas Instruments' mixed-signal microcontroller (MCU) features an integrated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and op amp

Image of Texas Instruments' MSPM0G110x 80 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCUTexas Instruments' MSPM0G110x MCUs are part of the highly integrated, ultra-low-power 32-bit MSP MCU family. The MCUs are based on the enhanced Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit core platform operating and a frequency of up to 80 MHz. These cost-optimized MCUs offer high-performance analog peripheral integration and supports an extended temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and an operating supply voltage range of 1.62 V to 3.6 V.

The MSPM0G110x devices provide up to 128 KB embedded Flash program memory with built-in error correction code (ECC) and up to 32 KB SRAM with a hardware parity option. The devices incorporate a memory protection unit, 7-channel DMA, and a variety of high-performance analog peripherals such as two 12-bit 4 Msps ADCs, a configurable internal shared voltage reference, and one general-purpose amp. The MCUs offer intelligent digital peripherals such as two 16-bit advanced control timers, five general-purpose timers (one 16-bit general-purpose timer for a QEI interface, two 16-bit general-purpose timers for STANDBY mode, and one 32-bit general-purpose timer), two windowed-watchdog timers, and one RTC with an alarm and calendar mode. These devices provide data integrity and encryption peripherals (CRC), as well as enhanced communication interfaces (four UART, two I2C, and two SPI).

The TI MSPM0 family of low-power MCUs consists of varying degrees of analog and digital integration allowing customers to find the MCU that meets their project needs. The MSPM0 MCU platform combines the Arm Cortex-M0+ platform with a holistic ultra-low-power system architecture, enabling system designers to increase performance while reducing energy consumption. The MSPM0G110x MCUs are supported by an extensive hardware and software ecosystem with reference designs and code examples to get designs started quickly. The development kits include LaunchPad™ and TI also provides a free MSP software development kit (SDK), which is a component of the Code Composer Studio™ IDE desktop and a cloud version within the TI Resource Explorer. The MSPM0 MCUs are supported by extensive online collateral, training with the MSP Academy, and online support through the TI E2E™ support forums.
