Pressure Sensors

A pressure sensor is a device that senses pressure and converts it into an electric signal where the amount depends upon the pressure applied. TE Connectivity (TE) designs and manufactures pressure sensors ranging from the sensing element to system packaging for harsh environments. We are an industry leader for our range of both standard and custom pressure sensors, from board level components to fully amplified and packaged transducers.

The MS5803-01BA can be interfaced to virtually any microcontroller. The communication protocol is simple, without the need of programming internal registers in the device.

Temperature Sensors

A temperature sensor is a device that detects and measures hotness and coolness and converts it into an electrical signal. At TE Connectivity (TE), we design and manufacture a broad portfolio of temperature sensors – including our NTC thermistors, RTDs, thermocouples, and thermopiles – designed for efficiency and easy installation, with capacity to reliably integrate technology that responds to human behavior.

PTF Series

The PTF-sensor family combines a group of resistance temperature detectors (RTD) using a Platinum resistor in thin film technology as a sensing element.

NTC Thermistors

NTC thermistors are soldered to 38 AWG Solid Nickel Bifilar with Polyester Type Insulation. Unit is potted in a polyimide tube with thermally conductive epoxy.

The Ni1000SOT is a nickel thin film resistance temperature detector (RTD) that is suitable for use in contact temperature sensing.

Humidity Sensors

A humidity sensor is a device that detects and measures water vapor. TE Connectivity (TE) manufactures a complete range of calibrated and amplified sensor products that measure relative humidity (RH). Based on our robust capacitive technology, these humidity sensors provide accurate measurement of dew point and absolute humidity by combining relative humidity (RH) and temperature (T) measurements.

Embedded in a reflow solderable Dual Flat No leads (DFN) package of 3 x 3 mm foot print and 1 mm height, it provides calibrated, linearized signals in digital, I²C format. HTU21D sensors are dedicated humidity and temperature plug-and-play transducers for OEM applications where reliable and accurate measurements are needed.

A position sensor is a device that can detect the movement of an object and converts it into signals suitable for processing, transmission, or control. TE Connectivity (TE) is a leading manufacturer of industrial linear and angular position, tilt and fluid level sensors. Both off-the-shelf and custom position sensing solutions are available featuring our core technologies, including inductive, potentiometric, magnetoresistive, hall effect, reed switch, electrolytic, and capacitive sensing.

String Pots

This compact string pot with “voltage divider” output, provides ease-of-use and flexibility for measurement ranges up to 50 inches. Made of rugged polycarbonate, the SP1 fits in small spaces, does not need perfect alignment and ships with a stainless-steel mounting bracket to let the user easily orient this sensor in just about any direction imaginable.

Tilt Sensors

The D-series of conductive inclinometers offers modern SMD technology in environmentally protected and robust aluminum housing. The inclinometer achieves high accuracy over a wide temperature range. The fast microcontroller works with a linearization and temperature compensation routines.
