TE Connectivity (TE)’s Potter & Brumfield solid-state relays (SSR) are featured in industrial applications where silent, fast, and long electrical life in switching is required. The SSR3 series adds a motor forward/reverse SSR which will offer a compact switching solution to customers whose application requirements are not only limited to energization of the motor but also to control the direction of rotation. With load ratings ranging from 10 A to 40 A at 480 V_AC, the SSR3 series is equipped with random and zero turn-on switching options. This gives customers the option to remove the wiring complexities within a panel, as well as assembly time reduction and space utilization, especially in applications where 3-phase loads are to be operated.
