The high functionality of these devices increases their power consumption. Improvement of the power conversion efficiency in power circuits is essential for meeting market demands.

The TRM-ALD series features improved DCR and DC superposition compared with conventional products. DCR is reduced by 5.5% compared and contributes to the improvement of power conversion efficiency of power circuits at high loads. DC superposition characteristics are also improved and raise the rated current by 4%. Leakage flux is minimized by using a closed magnetic circuit structure. TFM-ALD inductors have excellent mounting stability characteristics and can be mounted to general-purpose land patterns.
