TDK advanced multilayer inductors meet evolving automotive PoC demands

The MLJ1005-G series, with dimensions of 1.0 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm, are currently the smallest multilayer inductors for PoC circuits. They support up to 480 mA of current and are optimized for high-frequency performance, addressing the increasing data transmission speeds in PoC applications. TDK utilizes proprietary materials and structural design innovations to minimize impedance deterioration, ensuring reliable and high-quality signal filtration.

The existing MLJ1608-G series measures 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm x 0.8 mm and supports a rated current of 500 mA. This series achieves a maximum impedance of 2,500 Ω and maintains impedance levels of 1,000 Ω over a broad frequency range of 300 MHz to 2 GHz. The MLJ1608-G series inductor is designed to offer minimal current variation and assured performance at temperatures up to +125°C, making it highly suitable for the demanding conditions of automotive applications.

MLJ-G series inductors are integral to the PoC system, which requires effective filtering to separate power from data signals. The inductors meet these requirements by providing high impedance for AC components across a wide frequency range. This capability is crucial for the performance of automotive cameras and sensors used in ADAS, which rely on high-speed and large-capacity interfaces.
