X-NUCLEO-OUT08A1 Industrial Digital Output Expansion Board

STMicroelectronics' 2 A (typ.) industrial digital output expansion board allows for the evaluation of the fast, safe, and efficient driving performance and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities of the smart IPS160HF high-side switch in industrial applications, allowing the implementation of Safety Integrity Level guidelines.

The board, which is part of the STM32 Open Development Environment, includes 3 kV optocouplers to insulate the interface with the microcontroller on a separate NUCLEO-F401RE or NUCLEO-G431RB development board via Arduino™ UNO R3 connectors.

The system can be stacked with a second expansion board for dual 2 A channel digital output module or single 2 A channel safety digital output module development. It can also be stacked with a sister X-NUCLEO-OUT10A1 expansion board to deliver a single 2 A channel output and a single 0.5 A channel output.
