X-NUCLEO-53L4A1 Time-of-Flight Proximity Sensor Expansion Board
STMicroelectronics' ToF board is compatible with STM32 Nucleo development boards
STMicroelectronics' VL53L4CD is designed for proximity and very accurate short-range measurements (1 mm to 1300 mm), ensuring high performance and low power consumption. A next-generation laser emitter with 18° FoV (field of view) improves performance under ambient light with ranging speed up to 100 Hz. All ST ToF sensors integrate a VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser). It emits a fully invisible 940 nm IR light that is totally safe (Class 1 certification).
- VL53L4CD ToF high-accuracy proximity sensor
- High-performance proximity ranging, independent of the reflectance of the target
- From 0 mm to 1300 mm with full FoV
- Short distance linearity down to 1 mm
- 0.25 mm, 0.5 mm, and 1 mm spacers to simulate air gaps
