It embeds STMicroelectronics’ state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz radio IPs, optimized for ultra-low-power consumption and excellent radio performance, and a high-efficiency SMPS step-down converter for unparalleled battery lifetime.

It complies with BLE SIG core specification version 5.4, addresses point-to-point connectivity and Bluetooth Mesh networking, and allows large-scale device networks to be established reliably. The STM32WB09xx is also suitable for 2.4 GHz proprietary radio wireless communication to address ultra-low latency applications.

The STM32WB09xx embeds an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller that can operate up to 64 MHz and the core co-processor (DMA-based) for BLE timing critical operations. It also offers a generous internal Flash of 512 KB. It is well-featured and peripheral-rich for a MCU of its class, thus offering the best value versus feature level for cost-sensitive applications.
