Image of STMicroelectronics STM32N6 Series MCUsThe STMicroelectronics STM32N6 is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M55 running at 800 MHz. The Cortex-M55 is the first MCU to introduce the Arm Helium vector processing technology, bringing DSP processing capability to a standard MCU.

The STM32N6 is the first STM32 MCU that embeds the ST Neural-ART Accelerator™, an in-house developed neural processing unit (NPU) engineered for power-efficient edge AI applications. Clocked at 1 GHz and providing up to 600 GOPS of processing capabilities, it allows for real-time neural network inference of computer vision and audio applications.

A dedicated computer vision pipeline consisting of a MIPI CSI-2® interface paired with image signal processing assures large compatibility with cameras on the market. An H264 hardware encoder, JPEG codec, and the NeoChrom™ accelerator for graphics allow the STM32N6 to be deployed in demanding feature-rich products.

    • Dedicated image signal processor (ISP): dimensioned for 5 Mpx camera at 30 fps, generate three different outputs from the same input, multiple camera interfaces: MIPI CSI-2, two-lane interface, 16-bit parallel interface, STM32-ISP-IQTune to manage ISP tuning
