BlueNRG-LPS Series 32-bit MCU Wireless Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.3

STMicroelectronics' BlueNRG-LPS is an ultra-low power programmable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless system on chip (SoC) solution. It embeds STMicroelectronics’ state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz radio IPs, optimized for ultra-low-power consumption and excellent radio performance, and a high-efficiency SMPS step-down converter for unparalleled battery lifetime.

• RX sensitivity level: -97 dBm at 1 Mbps, -104 dBm at 125 kbps (long range)
• Programmable output power up to +8 dBm (at antenna connector)
• 4.3 mA peak current in TX (at 0 dBm, 3.3 V)
• 3.4 mA peak current in RX (at sensitivity level, 3.3 V)

It is compliant with BLE SIG core specification version 5.3, addressing point-to-point connectivity and Bluetooth Mesh networking, and allows establishing large-scale, reliable device networks to be established. The BlueNRG-LPS is also suitable for 2.4 GHz proprietary radio wireless communication to address ultra-low latency applications.

The BlueNRG-LPS embeds an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller that can operate up to 64 MHz and the BlueNRG core co-processor (DMA based) for BLE timing critical operations.
