JBX Series Push-Pull Connectors
Souriau's JBX series has durable latching mechanism
Souriau's JBX series has a durable latching mechanism with a mechanical push-on/push-off system. Its high mating cycle-count goes up to 1000 cycles. The JBX series has high density contact layouts from 2 to 30. Contact terminations available include crimp, solder, straight PCB tails, and 90° PCB tails. Contact diameter ranges from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm. Shielding effectiveness ranges from 65 dB up to 100 MHz. This connector has total protection against dust and is available in a waterproof version. A selection of cable seals is provided with each connector to customize fit with specific cable diameters.

- Water proof – up to IP68 in mated and unmated conditions: Ideal for outdoor applications with temporary or continuous water immersion and dust protection.
- Signal integrity - 360° EMI shielded: Less than 5 mΩ - qualified and compatible to be used in electromagnetic radiation areas and ensures proper signal integrity and transmission.
- Space saving - high density layouts: Ideal for compact devices due to small footprint. The use of 0.5 mm contacts along with miniature housing makes it suitable for tight applications.
- Reliable mating - push-pull locking mechanism: Only requires two fingers to mate/unmate securely with an audible, tactile, and visual indicator. Capable of mating over 1,000 times.
- Cost savings - mixed power and signal layouts: Power supply and signal transmission can be combined in a unique interconnect solution to reduce system complexity and minimize component/installation costs.
