Silicon Labs' Thunderboard EFR32BG22 is a small and cost-effective, feature-rich prototype and development platform based on the EFR32™️ Wireless Gecko system-on-chip designed to prototype battery-powered IoT applications.
The BGM210P is a module designed and built to meet the performance, security, and reliability requirements of line-powered IoT products for Bluetooth networks. They feature an optimized form factor with integrated chip antenna and low profile for space-constrained IoT designs, including smart lighting, HVAC, building and factory automation systems.
The first family of devices in Series 2 are EFR32BG21, a 2.4 GHz wireless SOC optimized for line-powered BLE and Bluetooth mesh applications, including connected lighting, smart plugs, gateways, and voice assistants. An 80 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core provides plenty of processing capability while a dedicated security core provides faster encryption, secure boot loading, and debug access control.
The Blue Gecko Bluetooth Low Energy SoC Kit enables developers to quickly establish a Bluetooth connection and evaluate Blue Gecko SoCs.

MGM210P is a PCB module for Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth and multiprotocol (Zigbee + Bluetooth) connectivity built around the EFR32MG21 Wireless Gecko Series 2 SoC. It is designed and optimized for the needs of IoT solutions for the smart home and for commercial/industrial applications with hostile RF environments, including smart lighting and building/factory automation.
Wireless Gecko Series 2 Multiprotocol devices bring high performance, low power and secure solutions to the IoT. Designed to increase processing capability, improve RF performance and lower active current, EFR32MG21 devices are 2.4 GHz wireless SoCs optimized for line-powered Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth mesh applications, including connected lighting, gateways, voice assistants and smart metering.
The EFR32MG supports mesh (Thread/Zigbee), Bluetooth Smart, and proprietary networks. The Mighty Gecko starter kit is capable of being the development platform for all protocol stacks.
