RA4L1 Arm® Cortex®-M33 MCU
Renesas 80 MHz MCUs offer operation down to 1.6 V and a low-power standby current of as little as 1.65 µA
The Renesas RA4L1 microcontroller (MCU) group features low-power, 32-bit MCUs based on the Arm Cortex-M33 (CM33) core with TrustZone®, delivering an ideal balance of low-voltage operation, low power consumption, and high performance. The RA4L1 offers operation down to 1.6 V combined with a low-power standby current of as little as 1.65 µA and a multitude of low-power features enabling users to dynamically optimize power and performance to their application requirements.
These MCUs include low-power features such as a segment LCD drive and an advanced security engine, as well as RTC, ADC, and timers. The RA4L1 MCUs integrate communications interfaces such as CAN FD, USB 2.0 FS, I²C/I³C, and low-power UARTs, making these devices ideal for many industrial automation, home appliance, smart home, consumer, building/home automation, and medical/healthcare applications. The RA4L1 comes in a wide variety of standard LQFP and QFN package options as well as a range of space-saving BGA and CSP options. It also offers support for operating temperatures of -40°C to +125°C. The RA4L1 MCUs are fully supported by the Renesas Flexible Software Package (FSP) and a comprehensive set of hardware and software development tools.
