Renesas' MCI-HV-1 is a high-voltage (100 V/200 V) motor control solution for BLDC/induction motors. This solution includes an inverter board and sample code that enables easy evaluation by simplifying the development of target applications. The MCI-HV-1 supports 240 VAC and 390 VDC input voltage with 2 kW as max output (when DC input). This solution has many built-in protection functions such as overcurrent detection, short-circuit prevention, overheat detection, overvoltage prevention, and inrush current prevention. With a built-in reinforced insulation comm, I/F users can enable control/debug directly from their PC. By combining the MCI-HV-1 with a compatible CPU board (such as MCK-RA6T2), users can immediately start the evaluation of their motor control. Additional app notes, sample codes, and PC GUI environment are available to support development.
