AN7002Q Wi-Fi® 6 Module

Raytac Wi-Fi 6 modules offer seamless integration of dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity without requiring RF design expertise

Image of Raytac AN7002Q Wi-Fi® 6 Module Raytac AN7002Q series compact, high-performance Wi-Fi 6 modules are designed for space-constrained IoT, industrial, healthcare, and mesh networking applications. Built with the Nordic Semiconductor nRF7002 Wi-Fi 6 companion IC, the AN7002Q module offers seamless integration of dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity without requiring RF design expertise. This module is optimized to work alongside the Raytac MDBT53-1M series Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) module for complete Wi-Fi + BLE solutions, enabling robust wireless communication for next-generation smart devices.

Two Wi-Fi MAC addresses have already been loaded to each of the AN7002Q modules to support customer development. These modules have achieved pre-certification of the Wi-Fi logo, allowing customers to inherit its Wi-Fi Certification ID (CID) in order to save cost and time for Wi-Fi tests. The AN7002Q module comes in a 10.8 mm x 17.1 mm x 2.1 mm (0.43" x 0.67" x 0.08") form factor and offers a high-performance ceramic chip antenna. The module can be applied on an evaluation kit (AN7002Q-DB-5340) for Wi-Fi+BLE firmware development. The nRF7002 SoC enables the AN7002Q module to support QSPI and SPI for connecting with the Nordic BLE modules/chips based on nRF5340 or the upcoming nRF54H20 MCU. It is also qualified over a -40°C to +105°C temperature range.

The AN7002Q module also comes with two other antenna variations: the AN7002Q-P (PCB antenna) and the AN7002Q-U (external antenna).
