Push-X Terminal Blocks

Phoenix Contact's Push-X terminal blocks are an exciting concept in tool-free conductor connection. Push-X can accommodate all types of conductors with direct wiring, eliminating the need for tools. A pre-tensioned contact spring lies at the heart of this technology. This spring enables the connection of rigid and flexible conductors with or without ferrules. Even the smallest flexible conductors trigger the link. Lightly tapping the release surface inside the clamping chamber causes the conductor to be contacted with little effort. The contact spring is released by the wire being inserted, and the conductor is connected safely and reliably. As with the push-in system, connected conductors can be disconnected by pressing the orange pusher. At the same time the conductor is released, the contact spring is preloaded for a new wiring operation.

The XTV terminal blocks are the first terminal blocks on the market with integrated Push-X technology. This quick connection technology allows connecting of conductors in no time, without the need for tools, no matter the wire being used. The lateral conductor connection of the terminal blocks also reduces the bending radii and thus promotes straightforward wiring. This is particularly advantageous when wire markings are used. Furthermore, the terminal blocks close the gap in the PTV and PTPOWER lateral spring-cage terminals range.

All wires between 14 AWG and 4 AWG can be wired in a space-saving manner with the XTV terminals. The product family consists of feed-through and multi-conductor terminal blocks in cross-sections of 6 mm², 10 mm², and 16 mm². In addition to the standard gray terminal blocks, the series includes other color variations and protective conductor terminal blocks.

The XTV series features a QR code in the product labeling for the first time.
