Panasonic’s passive components such as Capacitors, Inductors and Resistors are specified as AEC-Q200 compliant and are consistently designed into automotive systems such as infotainment, engine control, air bags, lighting and more. However, design engineers are now specifying AEC-Q200 compliant components to meet the high quality standards of devices beyond Tier 1 automotive applications.
Capacitors

The FKS Series is a revolution in size and performance. Using advanced foil technology, this series contributes to the downsizing of your PCB design by delivering the same performance of legacy capacitors in one case size smaller of a package. The AEC-Q200 qualification of the FKS Series ensures that these capacitors are meeting most stringent quality standards in the industry. If required, Panasonic is also able to provide a vibration-proof variant for all parts with a diameter of 8 mm or greater.

Resistors
These industry leading thin-film resistors have been expanded to include new offerings in 10ppm and 15ppm TCR, as well as 0402 inch (0.063W) and 1206 (0.25W) case sizes. The expanded values provide more specification options and higher performance accuracy to design engineers. Also introduced is a 0.05% tolerance option (“ERA-xxxW” type) for the 0402 size. Features include high reliability at high temperature and high humidity as well as high accuracy, low current noise, and excellent linearity. AEC-Q200 applicable, these thin-film chip resistors are even usable within demanding automotive applications.

With a 0201 inch case size, these resistors have a 0.05W power rating. Featuring high-reliability and stability at high temperatures and high humidity, the ERA-1AEB Series is usable in demanding automotive applications. These resistors boast a high accuracy of 25ppm, 0.1% making them one of the best-in-class resistors on the market today. The ERA-1AEB Series also has low current noise and excellent linearity. Compliant standards include: IEC 60115-8, JIS C 5201-8, and EIAJ RC-2133B.
The ERJ-MP Series introduces select parts that have excellent thermal diffusion and radiation achieving linear TCR characteristics with long stability. ERJ-MP Series Resistors offer an outer resin with high heat dissipation realizing a wide range of operational temperature from -65°C to +170°C. AEC-Q200 Compliance and TS 16949 certification for the entire ERJ-MP Series of Current Sensing Resistors from Panasonic ensures optimal quality and reliability.
This Series is a new product category for Panasonic at the 1020 case size. The ERJ-MB1 Series parts provide higher power and lower resistance than the same size Thick Film Type Resistor. ERJ-MB1 Series Resistors offer an outer resin with high heat dissipation realizing a wide range of operational temperature from -65°C to +170°C. AEC-Q200 Compliance and TS 16949 certification for the entire ERJ-MB1 Series of Current Sense Resistors from Panasonic ensures optimal quality and reliability.

The newly expanded ERJ-PA2 Series now includes resistance values in the 5% tolerance to support all E24 resistance values as well as the 1% tolerances to support all E24 and E96 resistance values. Panasonic has expanded the tolerance for this Series as well by offering 0.5% tolerance in the E24 and E96 resistance values. With a 0402 case size and a rated power of 0.2W, these Resistors provide space savings without compromising on rated power specifications.

The ERJ-MS4/MS6 Series Resistors are current-sensing resistors that feature ultra-low ohmic values (as low as 0.5 milliohms) and with TCR as low as 75ppm. Metal-plate bonding technology provides excellent long-term stability and AEC-Q200, ISO9001 and ISO/TS16949 certifications ensure that these parts adhere to the most stringent quality standards available.
