NAFE11388/71388 Universal Input Analog Front Ends

NXP industrial-grade multichannel universal input analog front ends are highly configurable for a wide range of applications

Image of NXP's NAFE11388/71388 Universal Input AFENXP NAFE11388 and NAFE71388 devices integrate dual low-leakage, high-voltage fast multiplexers, low-offset and low-drift PGA and buffers, precision and high data-rate 16-bit or 24-bit Delta-Sigma ADC, and a low-drift voltage reference.

The analog HV input pins are diode-protected internally for EMC and misuse wire scenarios. Inputs can be configured for voltage, current, resistance, RTD, thermocouples, and as single-ended or differential with ranges up to ±25 V.

The devices in the NAFE11388 and NAFE71388 families are equipped with diagnostic circuits for functional safety, monitoring, and detection. Two precise calibration voltage sources are made available for end-to-end system self-calibration and anomaly detection for predictive maintenance.
