ESD Protection for Automotive CAN-FD
Nexperia's AEC-Q100 qualified CAN-FD solutions offer PPAP capability
Nexperia’s ESD protection for automotive CAN-FD (flexible data) covers speeds up to 5 Mb/s whereas the well-known CAN protocol is limited to 1 Mb/s. The typical implementation limit suitable for many applications that do not require higher data rates is 2 Mb/s. As data payload in vehicles increases, high-speed data transmission becomes essential and new protocols find their way into in-vehicle networks.
