Monolithic Power Systems' MPQ4425A is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switched-mode white LED driver with built-in power MOSFETs. The device offers 1.5 A of continuous output current in a very compact solution to achieve excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range. The MPQ4425A has synchronous mode operation for high efficiency and offers current mode operation providing fast transient response and easing loop stabilization. Full protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD). The MPQ4425A is available in a QFN-13 (2.5 mm x 3 mm) package.
