MPM54313 Power Module with I²C Interface

MPS MPM54313 triple 3 A, fully integrated power modules with I²C interface offer a complete power solution. They feature built-in power-on/-off sequencing control, configurable soft start (SS), compensation, and various protection thresholds.

Constant-on-time (COT) control provides an ultra-fast transient response. The output voltage (V_OUT) can be adjusted via the I²C bus or preset by the multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory. The power-on/-off sequence is also configurable via the MTP or controlled via the I²C bus online. The MPM54313 offers configurable active voltage positioning (AVP), which generates a droop voltage that allows up to three outputs to be paralleled with passive current balancing. In addition, buck A and B can operate in parallel for up to 6 A in interleaving mode, allowing for active current balancing.

Full protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown. The MPM54313 requires minimal external components, and it is available in a compact BGA (8 mm x 9 mm x 2.58 mm) package.
