Image of MoSys QUAZAR QPR4 Memory IC The QUAZAR family of memory from Peraso is a series of high-speed memory, high-capacity ICs supporting high bandwidth up to 640 Gb/sec as well as fast random-access rates. These faster rates help solve critical memory access challenges for memory-bottlenecked applications such as network table search, buffering, 8k video, security and firewall, statistics, anomaly detection, AI, IoT, and genomics.

This quad partition rate memory is specifically designed to support the next generation of low-latency, high-speed, and very high-bandwidth random access memory applications. These QPR devices offer 576 Mb and 1 Gb of memory, providing 4x and 8x the capacity of the most common QDR SRAM devices.

Each QUAZAR SRAM device has two user-selectable operating modes. The mode determines how many standalone random-access SRAMs are available on the device.

  • Deep mode has four independent SRAMs
  • Wide mode has eight independent SRAMs

These devices are also pin-compatible with Peraso BLAZAR family of Bandwidth Engine devices. The QUAZAR SRAM memories support FPGA accelerations by direct connection to Xilinx and Intel FPGAs. The QPR4 devices are available in a 19 mm x 19 mm FCBGA package while the QPR8 devices are available in a 27 mm x 27 mm FCBGA package.
