Micrometer Precision Measuring Instruments

A micrometer is a precision measuring instrument specially designed to measure electrical terminal crimped heights on solderless, open, and closed barrel terminals. Molex offers two crimp-height micrometers to ensure users obtain a quality tool at a fair market price. The anvil (thin blade) supports the top of the crimp while a spindle (point section) contacts the bottom radial surface, providing an accurate measurement. The tool requires regular maintenance (removing dust, moisture, and other contaminants with a clean brush or a soft lint-free cloth) to make sure it continues to work accurately. The only replaceable component on the tool is the batteries.
