Impel Backplane Cable Assembly

Molex's impel cable assemblies deliver next-generation data rates with industry-leading signal integrity and density in a complete backplane solution. Cable assemblies with Temp-Flex twinax cables (30 AWG) achieve data rates required by telecommunications and data centers industries. This provides the footprint and interface that enables customers to migrate to data rates up to 40 Gbps, without completely redesigning their architecture or replacing hardware already placed in the data center, while meeting the mechanical density requirements being driven by the industry. This cable assembly provides overmolded strain relief, differential pair pins, and large ground blade. The lower mating force eases assembly and operator fatigue. These assemblies enable backward and forward compatibility with various high-end architectures.
