MTCH Series Capacitive Touch/Liquid Detection Controllers

The Microchip MTCH series includes the MTCH9010, MTCH1010, MTCH1030, MTCH1060, and MTCH2120. It offers a range of turnkey capacitive touch and liquid detection controllers designed for embedded applications requiring high noise immunity, water tolerance, and minimal firmware overhead. These devices support self-capacitance sensing and are optimized for ease of integration, offering GPIO or I²C interfaces depending on the model.
The MTCH10xx family (MTCH1010, MTCH1030, and MTCH1060) provides one to six capacitive touch channels with GPIO control, while the MTCH2120 expands this to 12 channels with I²C configurability. The MTCH9010 is a specialized liquid detection controller supporting both capacitive and conductive sensing. All devices are engineered for robust operation in harsh environments, including moisture and electrical noise, and are supported by Microchip EasyTune and MPLAB® Data Visualizer tools for rapid prototyping and tuning.
