Water-Based Conductive Paint

MG Chemicals' WB series are water-based conductive paints designed for protection against EMI/RFI. These easy-to-use, one-part systems are intended for use in building interiors where shielding against EMI/RFI is a necessity. Water-based paints offer the benefits of being non-flammable, low VOC, and having low odor. They are excellent on musical instruments and in architectural applications.

Unlike diamagnetic conductive fillers like carbon, copper, or silver that only shield the electric component of electromagnetic waves, nickel is ferromagnetic and blocks the magnetic component as well. It can be applied by spray, brush, or roller. It is excellent for use on wood and drywall and bonds well to many plastics. It can be painted over with common architectural paints.
