Mechatronics' expanded offering of low-power fans are ideal for applications where only AC power input is available

Image of Mechatronics' EC Fans Mechatronics' low-power fans are ideal for applications where only AC power input is available and low power consumption is a requirement. These fans are electronically commutated (EC) providing the efficiency of a DC fan with the simplicity of connecting to an AC power supply. Available with global voltage input accommodating 90 VAC to 265 VAC, these fans allow for a single model to be used in products in both 115 VAC and 230 VAC applications. Mechatronics' low-power electronically commutated fans are available in sizes ranging from 60 mm to 250 mm.

  • Reduced power consumption: as much as 70% lower than that of standard AC fan models
  • Improved performance offers higher airflow than standard AC fan models
  • Global voltage options allow fans to operate from 90 VAC ~ 265 VAC
  • Speed control options include pulse width modulation (PWM speed control) input
  • Alarm output options include tachometer and locked rotor alarm
  • Environmental protection options include conformal coating or encapsulated motor (up to IP68)
  • ATEX-rated options for use in potentially explosive locations
