It offers higher efficiency and better thermal performance than the competition while matching pinout and functionality. This power module integrates the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. The MxL7225-1 is identical to the MxL7225 but without internal compensation, giving designers more design flexibility. The MxL7218 is a lower output version, offering dual 18 A or single 36 A output.

  • Adjustable switching frequency (400 kHz to 780 kHz)
  • Overcurrent protection
  • Internal temperature monitor and thermal shutdown protection
  • Thermally enhanced 16 mm x 16 mm x 5.01 mm BGA
