MAAM-011238 Wideband Amplifier
MACOM offers a single amplifier for 5G applications spanning sub-6 GHz to mmW frequencies
MACOM's MAAM-011238 is a wideband amplifier operating from 100 kHz to 50 GHz. The ease of use and range of frequencies makes this a perfect fit for wideband applications in 5G test and measurement, communications, and mmW connectivity. The amplifier provides 14 dB gain, 5 dB noise figure, and 18.5 dBm of output power at 30 GHz. It is matched to 50 Ω with typical return loss of 12 dB. The amplifier requires only positive bias voltages and would typically be operated at 6 V and 135 mA. This single amplifier can cover the entire frequency for very wideband operation without external circuitry. It has low distortion and linear operation. The high power makes it a perfect fit for use as an efficient driver or output device. There is no negative voltage supply or external circuit needed. This device is also offered as a bare die in a 2.1 mm x 1.05 mm x 0.1 mm package.
