Klein Tools’ multimeter test kit contains the MM300 manual-ranging digital multimeter, the NCVT1P non-contact voltage tester, and the RT105 receptacle tester. The MM300 measures direct current (DC), AC/DC voltage, and resistance. The NCVT-1P automatically detects standard voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wires. It also tests continuity with visual and audible continuity indicators. The RT105 is a receptacle tester designed to detect the most common wiring problems in standard receptacles.

Multimeter (MM300):

Safety rating: CAT III 600 V, Class 2, double insulation
Built to withstand a 3.3 foot (1 m) drop and withstand daily wear and tear on the job site
Low battery indicator and easily accessible battery compartment
Test leads and batteries included

Non-contact voltage tester (NCVT1P):

Bright green LED to indicate the tester is working
LED changes to red and emits audible tones when voltage from 50 V_AC to 1000 V_AC is detected
Safety rating: CAT IV 1000 V
Batteries included

Receptacle tester (RT105):

Detects wiring configurations, indicates correct wiring, and identifies common wiring faults
Identifies open ground, open hot, open neutral, and hot/ground reversed
