Worm Gear Motors

ISL Products worm gear motors are capable of handling demanding applications with reliable operation

Image of ISL Products Worm Gear MotorsISL Products worm gear motor offerings are cost-effective and have high-rated torque output. These DC gear motors have right-angle gearboxes with an optional self-locking design. Each motor is made from high-quality materials for smooth operation and reliable performance. Coming in a range of diameters from 42 mm to 77 mm and producing a rated torque range from 180 oz-in to 1,485 oz-in, these ideal motors can handle the most demanding applications with reliable operation.

MOT-63WGM-R65E, MOT-42WGM-R125E, and MOT-42WGM-R134HE have integrated magnetic encoders. Utilizing Hall sensors for optimal resolution (PPR), this design allows for accurate tracking of movement and positioning. With the addition of the 62:1 or greater gear ratios, the accuracy is multiplied, measuring the output shaft in 5.8° increments. Worm gear motors with encoders are ideal for high-accuracy applications like standing desks, garage door openers, industrial lifts, and motorized gates. Each electric motor has three mounting holes located on the gearbox, measured to accept standard metric hardware. The gearboxes are filled with grease instead of oil, allowing for mounting in any orientation without any detrimental effects on the brush DC motors’ longevity or performance. Designed with ease of installation in mind, the gearboxes come configured with either spline, keyed, d-flat, or inverted hex hollow shaft. Long power leads are available bare (flying leads) with Molex 39-01-2060 connectors or AMP 180907-0 connectors.
