Altera Cyclone 10 LP FPGAs extend the low-power leadership of the previous generation Cyclone V FPGAs
The Altera Cyclone 10 LP FPGA family offers an optimal balance of cost-efficiency, low power consumption, and reliable performance, making it an excellent choice for power-sensitive applications such as industrial automation, automotive systems, and IoT devices. These FPGAs deliver up to 120 K logic elements, support multiple voltage standards, and integrate essential features like embedded memory, PLLs, DSP blocks, and On-Chip termination (OCT) for superior signal integrity. Advanced power management with 1.2 V and 1.0 V core voltage options ensures energy-efficient operation, while robust clocking networks and SEU mitigation enhance system reliability. With hot-socketing support for seamless integration and flexible I/O configurations, Cyclone 10 LP FPGAs provide designers with a scalable, cost-effective solution without compromising performance, making them ideal for both simple and complex embedded applications.
- Cost efficient: Low cost per IO and LE (Logic Element) with a range of device densities
- Very low power: Manufactured using a power-optimized process tuned for low static power and suitable for power-sensitive applications needing high performance
- Dual power supply operation: Only two core voltage rails are required, which reduces board cost and real estate
- Small-form-factor packages: Eases board design and reduces the total cost of ownership
- Faster arithmetic functions with embedded multipliers: Includes hardened 18-bit x 18-bit multipliers, which increases performance and affordability while reducing power and logic requirements
- 1.0 V and 1.2 V core voltage options
- Logic elements (LEs): four-input look-up table (LUT) and register
- Abundant routing/metal interconnect between all LEs
- M9K: 9 KB of embedded SRAM memory blocks, cascadable
- One 18 x 18 or two 9 x 9 multiplier modes, cascadable
- Up to 15 dedicated clock pins that can drive up to 20 global clocks
- Up to four general-purpose PLLs
- True LVDS and emulated LVDS transmitters and receivers
