Image of InnoSenT's iSYS-4001 Radar System InnoSenT's iSYS-4001 is a K-band based radar system that provides information on distance, movement direction, and velocity of moving objects. It is not limited to traffic monitoring applications; its features can also be used for industrial or security applications like smart motion sensors for outdoor light control.

It can detect moving objects in a speed range of 0.8 km/h (0.12 mph) up to 250 km/h (155.32 mph). The detection range is from 0.3 m (1 ft) up to 150 m (162.5 ft) depending on RCS. The three individually configurable outputs can be used to define alarm zones or trigger an alarm if certain criteria are met. With three different modes the range can easily be adjusted.

The radar is equipped with an intelligent µC processing unit and provides three individually programmable outputs. Velocity, distance, movement direction, and signal strength are just a few of the parameters that can be set to detect an object.

The setup can be easily done via InnoSenT’s graphical user interface (GUI). Due to the robust metal housing that meets the IP-67 standard, it is the ideal device for outdoor applications. The implemented radar processing and adjustable filters make integration easy for many applications, even without radar know-how.

To measure the distance to stationary objects, InnoSenT also offers an FMCW product variant. The iSYS-4004 provides information on distance and presence of stationary objects.
