Designed for battery packs used in a broad array of applications ranging from EVs to energy storage systems, the TLE9012DQU fulfills four main functions: cell voltage measurement, temperature measurement, cell balancing, and isolated communication to the main battery controller.

The TLE9015DQU is a battery monitoring transceiver IC designed for connecting several TLE9012DQU devices in a daisy chain inside a Li-ion battery. Using its two UART interface pairs, it can support ring communication, lowering system costs while improving availability. The TLE9015DQU_TRX_BRG evaluation board can be used with the TLE9012DQU_DTR_BMS2 to evaluate the total optimized solution for battery cell monitoring.
