CY8CKIT-149 PSoC™ 4100S Plus Prototyping Kit
Infineon's PSoC 4100S Plus Prototyping Kit enables users to evaluate the PSoC 4100S Plus device
Infineon's PSoC 4 is a scalable and reconfigurable platform architecture for a family of programmable embedded system controllers with an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU while being AEC-Q100 compliant. It combines programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks with flexible automatic routing. PSoC 4100S Plus is a member of the PSoC 4 platform architecture. It is a combination of a microcontroller with standard communication and timing peripherals, a capacitive touch-sensing system (CapSense®) with excellent performance, programmable general-purpose continuous-time and switched-capacitor analog blocks, and programmable connectivity. PSoC 4100S Plus products will be upward compatible with members of the PSoC 4 platform for new applications and design needs.
The PSoC 4100S Plus prototyping kit features Cypress' fourth-generation capacitive-sensing solution that works in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids. This kit enables users to quickly evaluate and develop with CapSense using the two capacitive boards, one featuring three capacitive buttons and the second featuring a six-segment capacitive slider, both capable of self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive sensing for buttons.
The PSoC 4100S Plus prototyping kit offers an open footprint breakout board to maximize the end utility of the PSoC 4100S Plus device. This kit provides a low-cost alternative to device samples while providing a platform to easily develop and integrate the PSoC 4100S Plus device into a user's end system.
The CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100S Plus prototyping kit also integrates Cypress KitProg2 that enables onboard programming, debugging, and bridging functionalities, such as USB-UART and USB-I2C. KitProg2 is used to program and debug the target PSoC 4100S Plus device and EZ-BLE Module. The prototyping kit allows customers to separate the KitProg2 board from the target PSoC 4100S Plus board.
