High-Reliability Flex Circuit Assemblies for Datamate J-Tek and Gecko

Harwin’s flexible printed circuit (FPC) assemblies add versatility and have a sharper bend radius compared to standard cables. These low-profile designs combine the go-anywhere routing cables with the reduced vertical space required by SMT connectors. When users replace standard cable connectors with these flex-mounted SMT connections, they will be able to stack PCBs closer. The FPC design allows for a right-angled connection.

Choose between Datamate J-Tek for 2 mm pitch connectors and 1 mm FPC, or Gecko for 1.25 mm pitch connectors and 0.5 mm pitch FPC. Standard 10-contact assemblies in single- and double-ended designs are available from stock. Stainless steel jack screws are fitted to the Datamate connectors and latch to the Gecko, ensuring secure connection under duress.
