ii-Series Acoustic Imagers

Fluke ii-series acoustic imagers detect and pinpoint the location of potential issues and offer further analysis and assessment through advanced modes

Image of Fluke ii-Series Acoustic ImagersFluke ii915, ii905, and ii500 imagers give users the power to see sound, transforming industrial inspections. Whether it is compressed air or gas leaks, partial discharge issues, or mechanical anomalies, these tools improve the bottom line through easy and fast inspections that boost efficiency, maximize uptime, reduce costs, and improve safety. The Fluke ii500 allows users to locate, pinpoint with an image, and prioritize fixing compressed air or gas leaks. The ii905 and ii915 come with improved leak rate quantification, tripod mount, lower weight, Wi-Fi®, automatic capture upload to Fluke connect desktop via the cloud, and an improved ii-series reporting platform.

Fluke acoustic imagers detect and pinpoint the location of potential issues and offer further analysis and assessment through advanced modes such as LeakQ™, MecQ™, and PDQ Mode™.

The LeakQ mode is an AI analytical and reporting tool designed to prioritize (scale 1-10), calculate the volume (l/min or CFM), and analyze the costs (currency) of individual leaks on the go. It performs automatic scans, capturing the frequency range and sound pattern of leaks up to 100 kHz. Accurate distance measurement enhances leakage estimation, providing the best estimations of leak size and losses in its class. Additionally, it offers integrated CO2 emission estimation reporting, helping prioritize which leaks deserve attention first.

The MecQ mode of the ii915 surpasses traditional ultrasonic tools with user-friendly sub-modes. Unlike single-frequency tools, MecQ offers predefined and customizable frequency bands, allowing filtering and capturing dB-level data at any frequency band. This enables powerful trend analysis while still pinpointing leak locations.

The PDQ Mode of the ii915 translates the sound emitted by partial discharge into a real-time on-screen PRPD plot and allows the end user to easily and precisely pinpoint the partial discharge source location. With an extended frequency range of 2 kHz to 100 kHz, it detects partial discharge early, aiding maintenance planning and preventing catastrophic events. High-voltage professionals can now visualize what was once invisible.
