Epson's S1D13781 versatile graphic LCD controller efficiently manages digital image transfer between a wide variety of MCUs and an LCD panel. The S1D13781 is compatible with various 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit core MCUs that have a 8-bit/16-bit data bus width or SPI peripheral interface and can be connected to a panel of wide range resolution. Embedded with 384 KByte SRAM and multiple graphics engines, the Epson display controller significantly reduces the processing load on MCUs with limited memory and resources.

Users can leverage Epson’s extensive library of reference designs compatible with popular platforms such as mbed™, Arduino® Due, STM32VL Discovery (STMicroelectronics), and TI's Tiva C and MSP430 series.
