ED-CM4COOLER Heatsink for Raspberry Pi

EDATEC's ED-CM4COOLER heatsink is designed for the Raspberry Pi compute module 4 (CM4). Due to the higher performance of the CM4, power consumption gets higher than the CM3+. The temperature of the CPU is close to the temperature limit of +85°C when the environment temperature is +25°C and the CPU is fully loaded. The PMU and wireless module (CM4 with wireless function) are also very hot. The heat is dissipated through three thermal-conductive pads that are attached to the back of the ED-CM4COOLER, ensuring close attachment with the CPU, wireless module, and PMU on the CM4.

The ED-CM4COOLER includes optional four nylon washers (1.5 mm height and 3 mm height) that prevent damage to the board-to-board connector or deformation of CM4 when the screws are used to fix the ED-CM4COOLER on the CM4. There’s no need to solder the stand-off that secures the CM4 on the PCB when customers design their own baseboard, which saves money.

The ED-CM4COOLER can reduce the temperature of CM4 by a maximum of 20°C when the room temperature is +25°C and the CPU and DDR memory are fully loaded.
