Eaton's XTM-18 and XVM-16 supercapacitor modules are ultra-high capacitance devices
Eaton Electronics' XTM-18 supercapacitor module is a high energy storage solution with millions of charge/discharge cycles and up to 20 years of operating life. They can be used as sole energy storage or in combination with batteries to optimize cost, lifetime, and run time. Applications include providing power for warehouse automation machines and MHE (material handling equipment). The capacitance rating is 61.7 F for the XTM-18 supercapacitor module.
Eaton's XVM-16 supercapacitor module offers easy integration for 12 V systems and can be series connected to hundreds of volts. They can provide up to a few kilowatts of power for backup applications such as wind turbines and UPS or quick charge and high cycling experienced in warehouse automation. The capacitance rating is 65 F for the XVM-16 supercapacitor module.
