Image of Delta Electronics' PM05S Series DC/DC Converters Delta’s PM05S series of high-efficiency switching regulator are designed as a pin-compatible drop-in replacement for LM78 linear regulators and fits in the standard TO-220 footprint of linear regulators. The high efficiency of these step-down converters allows an operating temperature up to 80°C at full-load without heatsink.

The high efficiency of up to 97% and low stand-by power consumption of these switching regulators make them a cost-efficient solution for many different applications.
