Broadcom’s AFBR-1521CZ analog transmitter utilizes a 650 nm LED source in a housing designed to efficiently couple into 1 mm polymer optical fiber (POF). The analog transmitter links up to 58 meters which is supported by the 1 mm POF. It is designed to interoperate with Broadcom's AFBR-25xxCZ receivers.
The AFBR-1521CZ transmitter is a 4-pin device packed in versatile link housing. The versatile link components can be interlocked (N-plexed together) to minimize space and provide dual connections with the duplex connectors. Various simplex and duplex connectors and POF cables are available for versatile link components.
