Broadcom’s 10 A gate drive optocoupler in a 600 V CTI SO-12 package prevents erroneous gate driver failures in noisy environments
Broadcom’s ACFL-3161 10 A gate drive optocoupler device in the SO-12 package is designed for high-voltage, space-constrained industrial applications like motor drives and inverters. The package features a 600 V CTI mold that reduces the creepage requirement due to high insulation voltage in a compact footprint.
It features common mode transient immunity (CMTI) greater than 100 kV/μs, preventing erroneous gate driver failures in noisy environments. This device has less than 95 ns propagation delay, enabling high-frequency switching to improve efficiency in driving IGBT and SiC/GaN MOSFET.
