Blueshift's AeroZero Tape is versatile, high performing, and combines the properties of aerogel and polyimide polymer into a thin, flexible, and easy-to-use adhesive tape. The key is in the unique and patented structured-air technology, AeroZero® polyimide aerogel layer, which provides superb thermal insulation and broad temperature stability within a weight- and space-saving design. This high-temperature and fire-retardant tape technology protects components in the most demanding applications including aerospace rockets during launches and re-entry, automobiles and race cars, as well as smaller electronic devices enabling rocket-fast performance and long-lasting efficiency.
AeroZero Tape is laminated with a thin high-performance silicone adhesive for easy peel-and-stick application providing a strong bond to various substrates. The tape is also available with a graphite or polyimide film-facing layer for additional performance attributes. AeroZero Tape can be split into multiple widths and cut to varying lengths to support the design needs of the application.
