T30R Series Radar Sensors

Banner Engineering's T30R series radar sensors provide reliable detection and precise position feedback in challenging applications and extreme conditions. These innovative radar sensors are a robust, longer-range alternative to ultrasonic sensors and precisely distinguish between targets while filtering out unwanted ones, even in the presence of moisture or varying temperature conditions.

Banner's T30R standard radar sensor models offer precise detection and measurement up to 15 m from the sensor with two independent, adjustable sensing zones. Additionally, these sensors reliably detect targets in the most challenging conditions, including rain, wind, snow, fog, steam, or sunlight, and they offer consistent performance in a broad operating temperature range, -40°C to +65°C.

The T30R close-range radar sensor models measure the distance to objects as close as 200 mm from the sensor, a 100 mm improvement over standard model specifications, and they detect objects as close as 150 mm from the sensor.

The T30R long-range radar sensor models can accurately detect and measure the distance to targets up to 25 meters away, a 10-meter increase over standard model specifications.

The T30RW washdown radar sensor models offer the same powerful, reliable performance as the standard T30R sensor models but with a heavy-duty IP69K-rated housing with a polypropylene sleeve over the barrel to protect the sensor in particularly harsh environments. It is well suited for high-temperature, high-pressure washdown applications and offers excellent all-around chemical compatibility.
