Azoteq offers the ProxSense touchpad sensors with their SNAP function for 3rd level touchpad interaction

A large range of overlay materials and thicknesses can be accommodated, overlay’s of varying thickness and even 3D surfaces. Azoteq’s offering for touch pad controllers includes standard modules, full design service for custom modules and/or full design and manufacturing of touch pads.

Azoteq’s patented SNAP function allows for a 3rd level of interaction with the touchpad; not offered by any other supplier of capacitive touch technology. Power modes are extremely flexible with active standby modes of sub 10 µA and full power response times starting from 6 ms.
