AP Series Antenna PowerGuard Multilayer Varistors

KYOCERA AVX Antenna PowerGuard AP series of advanced varistor products are the ultra-low capacitance extension of the very popular AG series AntennaGuard. The AP series offers tighter capacitance tolerance and improved ESD energy ratings. Designed for use in RF circuits, sensors, high-speed lines, optic circuits, and capacitance sensitive applications. The AP series is available in 1.5 pF, 2.0 pF, and 3.3 pF with cap tolerances as tight as +0.5 pF. These tight tolerances give the designers confidence that their circuits will always perform the same from batch to batch while fully maintaining signal integrity.

The AP series is fully certified to the AEC-Q200 automotive standard and offers the same excellent reliability of the KYOCERA AVX AntennaGuard series which has been in automotive use for more than a decade. With the added performance bonus of bi-directional protection and zero temp derating, the AP series is the superior choice for both automotive and industrial applications where tight tolerance, low cap, and high levels of ESD protection are mandated.
