Altera Arria 10 SX SoC FPGAs feature support for up to 48 full-duplex transceiver I/Os
Part of the mid-range portfolio of Altera products, Arria 10 SX SoC FPGAs feature an embedded hard processor subsystem (HPS) based on a dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A9 with peripherals. The family also features support for up to 48 full-duplex transceiver I/Os with data rates reaching 17.4 Gbps for chip-to-chip communication and 12.5 Gbps for backplane connectivity. The logic densities supported are up to 660K equivalent logic elements (LEs).

Ecosystem
Arria 10 SX SoC FPGA is Arm processor-based and inherits the strength of the Arm ecosystem. Altera and the SoC FPGA user community provide many options to meet SoC FPGA development needs. - 60% higher performance versus the previous generation, over 500 MHz-capable FPGA logic core performance (15% higher performance than the previous SoC FPGA)
- Multiple hard IP memory controllers supporting up to 2,400 Mbps DDR4 SDRAM, along with Hybrid Memory Cube support
- More than 1,500 Giga floating-point operations per second (GFLOPs) and up to 50 GFLOPs per watt in a single device using the on-die configuration DSP blocks.
