Image of 3M's 8US4 Series MiniSAS HD Cable Assembly The 3M high-routability internal HD miniSAS cable assembly is the latest in 3M's SAS product portfolio, utilizing 3M twin axial cable, SL8800 series. Twin axial cable allows the user to bend and fold the cable as needed with little to no signal degradation. This next-generation SAS cable assembly allows for the signal transmission of both SAS 2.1 (6 Gbps per channel) and SAS 3.0 (12 Gbps per channel) industry-standard protocols. The HD MiniSAS standard (SFF-8643) increases linear board density while doubling the maximum per-port aggregate bandwidth.
